Yukio Asai

Yukio is a photographer who hangs out at the shop which Maki sells her photos to. He convinces her to participate in a photography contest for amateurs, just like he did with his girlfriend, Sai, three years prior. Although he did it mostly to motivate Sai out of her slump, he believes that Maki is talented enough to go professional. He doesn't want to admit that he is also experiencing artist's block.
