🧠 Personality

left|thumb|348x Yoko is shown to be a very mature and quite knowledgeable woman, especially when it comes to survival and general common sense. Yoko is a kind and caring person but can become quite irritable and aggressive sometimes, particularly when dealing with belligerent or uncooperative people, namely Kamina. Despite this, Yoko is a person who can endure and even handle most situations while maintaining a level head. Perhaps due to this, she has built up a well earned reputation as an excellent rifleman, a fact she is very confident in, as well as the resident sniper of the Dai-Gurren brigade. Unlike Kamina and more like Simon, Yoko prefers to think things through before charging head-first into a battle and is easily the most rational member of the group along with Rossiu and generally, Simon. Yoko is also shown to be a very protective person and cares deeply for her team mates and friends. Initially, Yoko doesn't think much of Simon, largely due to his lack of self-confidence. She couldn't understand Kamina's blind faith in him as she believes him not to be the fighting type due to his inability to cope under pressure. However, she later warms up to him and eventually forms a sisterly bond with him. She was horrified by Nia's (unintentionally) tactless and insensitive words about Kamina, namely that Simon can't rely on someone who isn't even around anymore. Even though Yoko acknowledged that no amount of crying would bring Kamina back, she still believed that they couldn't just forget about him like he was nothing. This incident caused Yoko to hold a grudge against Nia Teppelin and develop a deep resentment towards her. Yoko is also shown to be a rather competitive person, as shown when she attempted (and failed miserably) to defeat Nia in a sport during their stay on the beach. Her opinion of Nia changed once the two worked together to take down Adiane the Elegant. This convinced Yoko to let go of her resentment of Nia and the two became friends. After the defeat of Teppelin, Yoko remains generally the same, but with a new outlook on violence. Having seen friends die, Yoko believes that violence, mostly senseless, is terrible and should not be used with little children. She is shown to dislike politics, judging by her decision to leave Kamina City and become a teacher on a remote island.

👔 Appearance

- Post-Timeskip= left|thumb|Second Outfit At first, she wears an outfit similar to the one she wore in parts 1 and 2, only with the notable addition of a dark maroon jacket similar in style to what Simon wore in parts 1 and 2, thigh-high variants of her old boots and no stockings. center|thumb|faces sketches from the artbook - Miss Yomako= left|thumb|Miss Yomako outfit In post time-skip, she works as a teacher with straight hair, round glasses, a light striped shirt with white sleeves and puffed shoulders, a green tie, a red-brown pencil skirt, and high heels. - Super Galaxy Team Dai-Gurren Costume= left|thumb|Super Galaxy Team Dai-Gurren Costume After her official return to the team, she changes into an outfit made entirely of rubber-based, form fitting agile material, customized with a mix of white, black and a pattern of red and yellow stars. Essentially a three piece outfit, the gear she wears sports a black tube top with large yellow-golden stars on the breasts, a white, highly stylized, two tailed cloak with red accents including a star in the front, and white form fitting leggings with a golden star on the outer legs, both above and below her knees. The leggings finish themselves off with connected red heels and a black half-back thong piece. }} thumb|Pre and Post-Timeskip|alt= Yoko is known primarily for her thigh-length red hair that she commonly ties in a ponytail with bangs hanging on the right side and strands of hair, monolid amber eyes, a curvaceous figure, and very large but only partially covered breasts that were present even from a young age. Even seven years after the fall of Teppelin, Yoko's physical features fully develop and the young, more roundish facial structure she maintained as a teenager mature into that of a woman's. In addition to more defined, mature facial features and a sharper jawline, the rest of her body follows suit with her frame becoming more slender, her curves becoming more defined, and her breasts becoming even larger, making for an even more bodacious look than before. She also ties her left strand of hair when she ties her hair.

⚡ Abilities

thumb|318xYoko overflowing with Spiral Power. Spiral Power: As a Spiral being, Yoko is capable of evolving through the use of Spiral Power; an ability that become increasingly more potent depending on her willpower. In episode 27, Yoko, like all other members of Team Dai-Gurren at the time, has fully awakened and has access to infinite amounts of Spiral Power (via being given the same power as Simon), and is capable of using it in any possible way. As all members of Team Dai-Gurren have fully awakened their Spiral Power, she should be just as capable without the use of Gunmen as well; additionally having every capability the Tengen Toppa Series have shown, similar to Lordgenome and Simon. *Weapon Empowerment: Her first instance of the use of Spiral Power was in episode 12, in which she attempts to breakthrough Adiane's Gunmen, Sayrune. The mech had proved to be incredibly tough, being able to fight against Simon and Rossiu's Gurren Lagann for a brief moment. In the novelization, it is revealed that it wasn't Yoko's rifle that was out of tune, rather it was herself, via the events that occurred prior to this moment. It was her feelings that caused the inconvenience. Nia trusted her, which the latter realized, and was the factor that changed the way she felt about the former, putting her back on track, being able to access her dormant Spiral Power better. Yoko is what caused the Superconducting Rifle's power to reach heights large enough to pierce through the tough Gunmen. In the novelization's Post-Timeskip, Yoko fought and took down a Grapearl, which are used by pilots that go through training before use. *Gunmen Piloting: Gunmen were created by the Spiral King, Lordgenome, for Spiral Warriors to pilot, using their Spiral Power to power and control mecha. Additionally, the condition of the Gunmen is reflected upon the pilots; ie, the pilots feel the pain and retain the injuries. Spiral Power doesn't just power the Gunmen, it also assists the mecha in producing abilities for the user to adapt to certain situations in battle. *Reality Warping: In the movie, her emotions manifest a Tengen Toppa Gunmen (emotions being a subset of Spiral Power); Tengen Toppa Yoko-W-Tank and Tengen Toppa Yoko SP, to fight against Antispiral. Superhuman Strength: Even without the use of Spiral Power, Yoko has exceptional feats of raw strength. In episode 6, she manages to briefly knockout Kamina. In the first movie, ''Childhood's End'' she manages to handle attacks from Adiane's tail, in which she is capable of effortlessly blocking the Superconducting Rifle's shots. Towards the end of their battle, Yoko managed to cut Adiane's tail off with her hairpins. In episode 21, she could crack a blackboard just by throwing a piece off chalk. In the same episode, she could break the lock on Simon's cell, along with his cuffs. Superhuman Speed: In the first movie, Yoko could react fast enough to block Adiane's tail, which could effortlessly block a rapid succession of fire from Yoko's Superconducting Rifle; a railgun, which is stated to fire bullets at hypersonic speeds, implying that Yoko's reactions are faster than her Superconducting Rifle's projectiles' speed.
