Takeshi Miyakozuka

Takeshi is Ryo's father. He works as a police officer and is strait-laced in everything he does, believing that "men must be manly" and not show interest in "feminine" (i.e. cute, delicate) things. He doesn't always know how to relate to his daughter, but puts in a lot of effort to raise her and teaches her various forms of martial arts so that she can defend herself. Although he is initially dismissive of Asuka, Takeshi eventually warms up to him and even accepts that Asuka will "marry into [his] family", thinking to himself that Asuka "will make a good bride" to Ryo.
