Takashi Asano

Hachi's first lover, a handsome, older, married man. Asano had an affair with Hachi, which ended when he was transferred to Tokyo for employment. Hachi encounters him again in Tokyo, and after resolving her own personal issues with him, she tells him to stop cheating on his wife.
