Although she was a very proud and bossy, Sylvia was a charming leader who truly cared about her minions' welfare, as well as valuing their worshipping, even shielding her soldiers from the Crimson Demons' attacks. For this reason, in the anime version, Sylvia enjoys cute boys, being willing to spare them, while she hates pretty girls, having no mercy for them. Her type are sharp and strong-willed guys. Also in the anime version, after her near-death experience, Sylvia grew desperate for love, since she realized happiness and satisfaction aren't the same thing, and although Sylvia appreciates her minions' devotion, she began to crave for a romance.

Sylvia sported free-flowing bangs that are highlighted red and long, straight hair partially kept up in a bun at the top. She had animal-like purple eyes (yellow in the Light Novel) and pointy ears similar to an elf, leading Kazuma to believe she might be some kind of demon. At first glance, Sylvia looked like as a towering, voluptuous and attractive demon woman. She was so attractive that Kazuma seriously considered defecting to the Devil King's Army to be with her. As a Chimera, Sylvia possessed traits typically unique to both males and females, like big breasts and the figure of a woman, but also traces of a beard and a male genitalia. Sylvia wore a crimson leather one-piece dress with low cut made from the skin of lesser demons, white-sleeved gloves, brown stockings, dark-red shoes, a gold necklace and a single blue earring on her right ear. She usually carried a rope around with her to use for the "Bind" skill. After absorbing the Mage-Killer, the lower part of Sylvia's body took on the shape of a metallic snake with gem inscriptions.

As a Growth Chimera, Sylvia can absorb both organic and inorganic parts into her body, assimilating many monsters into herself and gaining their powers. *Body Manipulation: Sylvia can reshape her own body by absorbing both inorganic parts and biological beings, assimilating their attributes and features and adding them to her own physique, or placing the absorbed beings in a chosen location of her own body without hurting them. *Mage-Killer: By merging with the ancient weapon called Mage-Killer, Sylvia can nullify the effects of magical attacks on her. **Ancient Dispel (エンシェントディスペル): Creates a barrier around the user, preventing anyone in range from using magic, in addition to enhancing the user's magic resistance. *Physical Resistance: As a Chimera, she is already well renowned for their physical resistance. Her resilience was also enhanced after fusing with the Mage-Killer, allowing her to withstand the Vanir Dolls detonations. *Magic Resistance: As a Chimera, she is already well renowned for their magic resistance, being capable to withstand Wiz's magic. Her resistance was also enhanced by the Mage-Killer, allowing her to resist the Explosion Magic. *Fire Breath: The skill to breath out fire. It's unknown if Sylvia could use this before fusing with the Mage-Killer. *Bind: Summons ropes that tie an enemy. Success depends on Luck. Sylvia uses this skill with a rope she brought. Because of this skill, Kazuma speculates her real class is Thief. *Tentacles: In the anime version, instead of using Bind, Sylvia can grow tentacles from her back.
