Satsuki Matsumae

Ohana's mother, who works as a professional writer. Satsuki is seen on bad terms with her own mother, calling her "the mother I've always hated". Due to her boyfriend writing her name on his papers, the debt he falls into forces Satsuki to make a moonlight escape from her normal life. As a result, Ohana is sent to her grandmother's inn due to the not-so-motherly nature of Satsuki. She has a surprisingly infamous reputation at the Inn, being the first topic at hand when staff members talk to Ohana for the first time.
