Sakuko Akiyama

Sakuko Akiyama (addressed as Chako by her friends) is one of the main characters in the series. She mostly wears her school outfit with glasses on. She is hard working and smart, however, she is very insecure about her weight, and how Reiji Kurose thinks of her. She is also an admirer of Aoe Nagi and the idol group "Acrylic". Inspired by the novels of her favorite novel writer, Kosaku Esemori, she dreams of escaping the small town to be an editor for him.
