Oushirou Sakai

Oushirou is Sumito and Masataka's friend and classmate. While he jokes around with Sumito about the latter being gay, he isn't prejudiced against gay people and is the first to take Sumito's feelings for Yoshiyuki, seriously. After graduation, Oushirou attends university in Tokyo, where he lives for ten years until meeting Satoru. Oushirou has known Masataka since elementary school and has had a crush on him for a long time, and envies Sumito and Yoshiyuki for being happy together. He hesitates in admitting that he's attracted to men and is initially apprehensive about Satoru, but ends up turning to him in a moment of emotional turmoil.
