Matoi Sumeragi

Age: 14 Affiliation: Tenman Shrine Matoi comes to live with her father at the beginning of the series long after the mysterious disappearance of her mother. She hopes to live out her days as a normal girl. Her plans are interrupted however when a being from a higher dimension (also known as a god) becomes attached to her whilst she works at her uncle's shrine, allowing her to transform using a process known as "Divine Union."
