Mari is a shopkeeper at a store Hinata and Kyuu-chan often visit. Mari is very cheerful and polite. She can also be rather business-minded, such as spinning tragic stories about her merchandise to get people to buy them (Chapter 481, "The Tetra Family"), and reminding Hinata to buy things from her shop after giving him directions to a good sweet shop (Chapter 464, "Gathering Information").
