Krauss Ushiromiya

He is the next in line to inherit the family headship, and takes the initiative to lead the family conferences. Due to his arrogant nature, he has made himself something of an enemy to the siblings, who see him as trying to monopolize Kinzo's fortune, and unanimously attempt to upstage him, though with little success. His daughter, Jessica, also has little respect for him, particularly due to the pressure he places on her to become (or at least marry) a suitable successor to the Ushiromiya family after him. He is a real estate investor, and is currently supplying his funds to a resort. However, he has been unable to carry out his plans, and thus his investments end in failure. Despite always swaggering about, Krauss holds genuine remorse for all the troubles he put his family through. He is known to have taken up boxing in his youth, and still possesses quite a bit of skill in that area. Unlike his siblings, he lives on Rokkenjima with his father, wife, and daughter.
