Koume Makiba

Main female lead, initially 19 year old. She is often described as a doll and is considered cute by many characters. She works at YaYoi Printing Shop, where she meets her boss, Mikage Tomonaga, a tiger-master, and Kotarou Kazamori, his official tiger-tamer. She finds out that Kotarou doesn't have the tiger-tamer powers, but that she posseses the power to tame the tiger, thus becoming Mikage's unofficial tiger-tamer. She is shrewd and independent, always says what she thinks and is very hard-working. She eventually relizes that she is in love with Mikage, whom she calls "boss".
