Jan is a man living in Bruxelles with his wife Cécile and their children. He wakes up in the middle of the street, confused as to how he got there and who he is, and mixing up events in his past while on the phone with Cécile. He gradually pieces together that he'd been out looking for his son Marc when he was bitten several times by a child, judging by the size of the wounds.
