Haru Kagurano

Age: 15-17 Occupation: High School Student Eye Color: Violet Likes: Boba (Bubble Tea) Dislikes: Studying Haru is the carefree, younger daughter of Kaihou Kagurano. She is obsessed with Tapioca World and its mascot, Tapio-kun, to the point where it affects her academic performance. Her father hires Yukimura as a private tutor in the hopes of improving Haru's grades so that she may attend a good university. Being the daughter of an accomplished mathematics professor and having been repeatedly compared to her intelligent older sister, Haru has low self-confidence in her intellectual capabilities. This is exacerbated by her father's high expectations, and both she and others often refer to her as being stupid. For the most part, Haru's personality reflects that of a stereotypical gyaru. She speaks very informally, and she addresses Yukimura as Yukipii. Haru is extremely empathetic, which Yukimura uses to his advantage during their study sessions. Despite her reputation as an idiot, Haru demonstrates a genuine capacity to learn, and Yukimura realizes her academic shortcomings are at least partially a product of her environment.
