Halverson is a character of the day who appeared in To Thine Own Pokémon Be True!. Halverson was one of the participants in the Pokémon Ping Pong Tournament with his Marowak. Their first opponent was Jessie, who was partnered with Meowth. Halverson and Marowak won by default after Jessie's disqualification and moved on to the second round.
