Fox Devil

The Fox Devil has no conflicted feelings over killing and eating other devils; eagerly asking permission from Aki Hayakawa to swallow the Leech Devil's head. The Fox Devil is friendly with humans, allowing numerous Devil Hunters to make contracts with it. However, it only grants attractive people the ability to summon its head, showing a rather superficial side. The Fox Devil seemingly hates the taste of hybrids such as Katana Man and Reze; complaining that the former is monstrous and deciding to leave after tasting the latter. This showcases that they do not have a sense of loyalty or responsibility towards their contractors, being more than willing to abandon them or breaking the contract if the situation appears to be unfavorable or undesirable.

The Fox Devil's full appearance is that of an oversized arctic fox. Its head resembles a giant fox's head with multiple giant eyes covering it, each full of concentric circles. The Fox Devil's arm is likewise monstrously large with oversized claws and is covered in multiple eyes. The Fox Devil is colored differently in the anime and manga: * In the manga, it has orange or light brown looking fur. * In the anime, it is colored white and in both its eyes are red-orange and glow. As a Devil, the Fox Devil possesses all of the standard devil abilities, such the ability to make contracts with humans for a price; in the current story, the Fox Devil had a contract with Aki Hayakawa, Nomo, Nakamura, Hirokazu Arai and several other Devil Hunters. Despite apparently being on good terms with humanity and lending out several contracts, the Fox Devil still appears massive and powerful. The Fox Devil can teleport from Kyoto to the location of devil hunters that it has formed a contract with; allowing them to summon pieces of its body that perform an attack by saying and making a special hand sign. Afterwards, it disappears into a puff of smoke. While this attack is effective against devils, it is not effective against hybrids who can easily dodge the paws while also being durable enough to withstand a bite. The Fox Devil also detests their taste and will leave quickly after eating one.
