Fran discovers him in the forest. He tells Fran that he was going to kill himself and his girlfriend to preserve their relationship but only got halfway. Fran decides to revive his girlfriend by removing the head and modifying her so she evolves from a head, to a head with "finger legs" and, eventually, to a bigger body.
