Daisuke Nakahara

Nakahara Daisuke is the avatar of this manga's authors: Sakurai Kan and Hayase Jun. He is the owner of a Bento store near Sasazuka Station, Keio Electric Railway in Tokyo. In celebrating his tenth marriage anniversary, his wife Yuko gives him a trip around Japan, and explore special "Ekiben" (Train Station Bento) around the country. He also has extensive knowledge about railways in Japan, and can be considered an "Rail Otaku". He is about 35 years old when start his journey, and is very afraid of heights and ghosts.
