Akari Date

Akari is a yankee who is in her first year of high school. She meets up and befriends Usami, who is a year higher than her as she had heard that she was a fellow yankee and due to there not being any other yankees in her year. She looks up to Usami and respectfully calls her 'Anego'. Even after learning about her sickness and that Usami was not as cool as she seemed to be, Akari doesn't mind and continues to follow her.
