Although Zesta has the highest rank in Axis Order, he is a loafing wanton who, instead of working, spends his days stirring up trouble, like "playing with himself" in public, making perverted but silly speeches, harassing Eris priestesses, and even peeping the Axis priestesses. Zesta is "too open-minded" as well, and not just about gender and age, but even species, directing his lascivious gaze on Orcs, Ogres, Werewolves, Centaurs, Harpies and Lamias. Moreover, as a Axis Order member, Zesta is a schemer who encourages the use of scams to recruit new followers for his sect. However he is not clever at all, since most of his scams are odd and flawed. Also, while Zesta is a hopeless pervert, he is still very devoted to the Axis Church's doctrine and commandments, not allowing himself to enjoy sexy demons and undead, persecuting them, even though Zesta lets himself have fun by bullying these monsters. Nonetheless, Zesta is a rather charitable and appreciative person deep down, being grateful for Megumin's help, providing her housing and food selflessly and offering money for the scams she taught. However, Zesta is also a quite immature and spiteful man too, holding a grudge against Yunyun because she was partly responsible for one of his many arrests in Arcanletia, which is why he often picks on Yunyun and even tried to punish her for the sins of her clan.

Zesta is a middle-aged man with green eyes and dark grey hair, mustache and beard. He wears typical priest attire, consisting of a deep blue robe that covers his entire body and a large miter.

According to himself, Zesta has the highest level among the Axis Cult's priests.
