Mrs. King

The mother of the children Meg teaches. She has four children and her husband is Newcord's number one banker. She comes from a wealthy and elegant family, but she is a bit prejudiced towards her tutor, Meg. She trusts Martha's nephew, David, and has consulted with her on several occasions when problems arose in the King family.
