Makio

Makio punching Suma in the middle of a fight. Makio is brash, headstrong, and confident in the way she acts and her life as a kunoichi. Out of her co-wives, she tends to have less patience with Suma. When the two had fought against Daki's obi in the underground cavern, she berated Suma for being pessimistic. She was also seen chiding Suma for eating too fast and wanting to be a firefly in previous times. Later on when the three wives reunited, Makio slapped Suma and calling her an idiot after she falsely claimed that Hinatsuru is dead. Another example is when their husband almost succumbed to Gyutaro's poison and Makio yelled at Suma for loudly panicking and crying, interrupting Tengen's last words, and attempted to shove pebbles into her mouth to silence her. Despite her headstrong and fierce temperament, Makio does have a softer side that shows when dealing with her other co-wife, Hinatsuru, and their husband Tengen. Makio went to Hinatsuru for advice before their mission and later comforted her when she cried recalling their final battle. Likewise, Makio clinged to Tengen in relief after Nezuko Kamado healed him and later was seen worrying about his declining health following their major battle. Like her co-wives, Makio has a soft spot for Tanjiro, due to his monumental aid in the battle in Yoshiwara, offering him kind words during his training and wishing the best for him in his battle against Muzan.

Makio is a young woman of average height with a curvaceous figure, pale skin, and large light brown eyes framed by prominent eyelashes on both her upper and lower lids. Her thin eyebrows arch downward, giving her a determined and headstrong look. She has black hair tied up, with yellow bangs framing her face in loose, soft strands. Makio is seen wearing a red, sleeveless, striped dress that ends mid-thigh, which also reveals her cleavage. her outfit is secured with a black obi where she stores her kunai. She wears gray-colored bandages wrapped around her calves and up to her thighs. Her footwear consists of a pair of zōri with red straps. During her time as Daki's captive, she is seen with cuts and bruises across her body. When retired, Makio wears a more modest version of her usual attire, consisting of a scarlet kimono with darker lines and lifted sleeves, paired with a white yuban underneath that has an open window revealing her mid-chest. The outfit features white straps tied and laced in an X pattern around her shoulders and back, extending down to her ankles for added coverage. A darker grey obi is tied around her waist, secured with a white obijime in the middle. She retains her red-strapped zōri.

Overall Abilities: Makio does not possess any form of superhuman abilities. However, as she was raised as a kunoichi, she possesses impressive shinobi skills, being capable of wielding a kunai as well as performing maneuvers and fighting much more proficiently than regular people can.
