The biology professor who led the expedition on which Rinko and Koutarou discovered Kuroe's egg, and the leader of the kaiju-researching organization they formed in the aftermath. In the present day, he meets Kuroe on Maulani Island right after she gets captured by the natives. He soon explains the history of the kaiju who lived there.
