An African man originating from the Nairobi branch in Kenya. Due to his talent in martial arts, he received personal instruction in the secret techniques of the machine-style school and was granted its highest title, "Machine God." Jim Mazinge was to be chosen the successor of the machine-style school but many were opposed to an African man being the successor and, through manipulation, Jim Mazinge came to the lawless zone of Kanto, where he was attacked and blinded.
