Isshin is incredibly strong, being able to not only lift the Village instructor with one hand, but allowing him to swing him around with enough forced to knock other people away. He is also incredibly durable, being able to survive a sakuradite explosion with minimal damage. Aside from his physical might, he is also very skilled. He possesses strong hand-eye coordination, being able to catch Reyna's knife midair despite it being a sneak attack. He was also easily able to defeat the village instructor in sword combat.
