Ilda Ukonniemi

Katri's grandmother and Sara's mother-in-law. She is a kind old woman, but she suffers from neuralgia. She makes butter and bread from her cow's milk. She feels pity for Katri, who was separated from her mother at her young age and goes to her apprenticeship to help with the family finances, but at the same time she treats her with gratitude.
