Emile Elman

Similar to Ewen, Emile greatly admires Damian and frequently praises his abilities while joining him in teasing Anya Forger and Becky Blackbell. Despite his tendency to engage in childish teasing and arguments, Emile is a loyal and caring friend who consistently places Damian's wellbeing above his own. He is willing to put himself in danger to protect Damian, such as when he shields him during the dodgeball tournament, jumps into a river despite being unable to swim after believing Damian is drowning, and helps hold off Gambitz during the effort to clear Henry Henderson's name. thumb|Emile competing with his classmates Emile is highly expressive and tends to wear his emotions openly, whether he is excited, frightened, jealous, or worried. Despite being easily scared and prone to panicking, he repeatedly demonstrates courage when his friends are in danger. Like many students at Eden Academy, Emile is competitive and places great importance on earning Stella Stars and becoming an Imperial Scholar. Compared to his friends, Emile has a relatively simple outlook on life. While Damian and Ewen have lofty ambitions for the future, Emile has stated that his dream is simply to eat lots of candy. He also enjoys food and other luxuries, often enthusiastically talking about them with his friends.

Emile is a young boy with a square face and slanted eyes with small black irises (sometimes green in the anime). He has a round physique, an upturned nose, buckteeth, and dirty blond hair that is styled into a bowl cut. Like all other male students, Emile wears Eden Academy's uniform—a black button-up shirt with black shorts. He also wears white crew socks with black shoes.
