Bill's confidence and determination during the game Befitting his mature appearance and family background, Bill is an extremely disciplined boy who approaches virtually all matters with utmost seriousness. Above all, he is motivated by a desire to make his father proud, as he greatly respects and loves him. To this end, Bill regularly trains both his body and mind to maximize his potential, even for something as simple as a game of dodgeball. As a result, he is highly confident in his abilities, though this confidence can quickly falter when his normally well-calculated plans fail. thumb|Bill tears up after failing to eliminate Anya While he often tries to act more mature, Bill sometimes lets his demeanor slip and behaves more like a child, such as when he cried after failing to eliminate Anya with his dodgeball throws. Outside of competition, Bill is a relaxed and kind boy. He is well-liked by his classmates in Wald Hall and is friendly toward students outside his own class, as shown when he attempted to befriend Damian at the start of their field trip and agreed with Anya's desire to spend more time with their friends during Berlint's Winter Festival. Bill bravely calms down his classmates amidst the hijacking crisis Bill is also chivalrous, often using less force when competing against girls to avoid injuring them, though he may abandon this mindset when focused on securing victory. When Donna Schlag returned to Eden Academy and issued several Tonitrus Bolts to his class, Bill went out of his way to warn the students of Cecile Hall and urged them to flee. He also displays considerable courage, such as during the Red Circus bus hijacking, when he attempted to reassure his classmates that help would come. Although he was frightened after being threatened by Billy Squire, his words helped calm the other children. Following the incident, Bill develops a strong respect for Henry Henderson due to his willingness to remain on the bus and support the children. This trust later leads Bill to help defend Henderson's reputation and join the investigation into the accusations against him despite the risk of receiving a Tonitrus Bolt for skipping class. He later risks his own safety to restrain Mr. Armstrong so his classmates can continue their investigation.

Due to being an early bloomer, Bill possesses an unusually tall and muscular physique for his age, appearing significantly larger than his fellow first-grade students and rivaling some adults in stature. He has short brown hair parted to one side, thick eyebrows, and blue eyes hidden behind rectangular reflective glasses. Bill wears the standard male uniform of Eden Academy, consisting of a black button-up shirt, black shorts, white crew socks, and black shoes.
