Bernard McGregor

Bernie is a Puerto Rican black cat and the protagonist of Bernie no Enikki. While his father is away at sea, he takes care of his two younger siblings, Lu and Liz. He is a a very cheerful and well-behaved boy. Upon entering elementary school, he receives a diary and is encouraged to record each day through creative drawings.
