Bat Devil

First Incarnation
The Bat Devil, like most devils, has a great hatred towards humans, mostly because of them cutting off his arm and forcing him to go into hiding. He has a refined sense of taste, considering Denji and Power to be disgusting and treating humanity as a variety of different meals for him to consume and enjoy. He is particularly fond of eating children, as well as general humans with perfectly healthy bodies. The Bat Devil is seemingly capable of affection with other devils, having a relationship with the Leech Devil who mourned his death.

First Incarnation
The Bat Devil resembles an enormous humanoid bat with a grotesque face featuring multiple sharp teeth and large round eyes with a muscular body. His arms are connected to his torso by flaps of skin which also serve as wings. During his introduction he was missing his right arm, but regrew it after drinking Denji's blood. While keeping Meowy prisoner, he wore a birdcage on a chain around his neck which he kept the cat in. Throughout his fight with Denji, he loses the same arm once again. His body has dark-purple coloration, though in the anime it is changed to a simplistic dark-grey.

As a Devil, the Bat Devil possesses all of the standard devil abilities. Since bats are usually associated with vampires and blood suckers, the Bat Devil is quite strong. Following his latest reincarnation, he weakens and loses most of his unique abilities. He also appears to have lost his intelligence, becoming a creature incapable of speech.
