Barbara Mueller

After Michael Muller quit the police force, he joined a syndicate and lived in Dusseldorf. His superiors instructed him to pose as a businessman, as it made for a good cover-up. Every morning while sitting in a cafe, a woman and her little boy named Fritz would pass by him. Muller described them as "a daily reminder of the regular, honest life he'd given up." He eventually took the initiative and started talking to her. Before long, they were married and moved to Nice, France.
