Aki was very shy and reserved, but calm and humble, and was almost always seen in the company of her best friend Kyōko Kaneki. It can be seen that she is prone to moments of anguish and anxiety, and when this happens, Kyōko takes it upon herself to comfort her friend and ensure her peace of mind. It is also shown that she is passionate about practicing sports, and more so in the company of her friend.
